This song began as an acoustic guitar and vocals stem written and performed by Steve. He sent it to me, and I added the undulating staccato bass line, with the help of Ken's always well-suited drums. We went back and forth a couple of times, as is our process, until it clicked. Tez added some really dynamic leads and fills throughout, and Stephen filled in the rest of the electric guitar in a Keith/Ronnie kind of way, which is very tasteful. JJ then added some perfectly complimentary organ. Finally, Ken pleasantly surprised us with the low vocal harmonies, which were spot on. 
  Stephen also mixed and produced this one for us. He's brilliant behind the board, and we're lucky to have him aboard. This one came together in a matter of a relatively short period of a fortnight, which is rare for the Eclectic Collective. But, when something is hot and already put together, it comes quickly. We all hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

I asked Tony to write something about leaving the rat race and getting back to the country way of life , he came back with these wonderful words , so easy to work with , we hope you like it ! Next out is the 1st song by lyricist Andrea Brennan and myself on the 1st of May , a belter of a song , then on the 9th is a remix of an old one followed by another by me and Andrea . Due to technical problems Charlotte is having , the next release by Charlie and the Fox is slightly delayed , but it will be worth the wait ! Me and Andrea are back on the 15th , then another remix of an old one on the 22nd . Then on the 1st of June is a belter with Tony Harris . In the pipeline and in the creating process are songs by me and Charlotte , rapper Blaffy and myself , and a new one with Gaz Brownie , early stage with that song ! This song was written by Ken and a dearly departed friend and former bandmate named Chris Bennett about the latter's divorce that he was going through at the time when their band was also breaking up. Ken had a good demo of the two of them fleshing it out, which the Eclectic Collective used as a template for the song. Josh was first to add his unique slide bass line to the song. Next up was Tez, who added the fiery solo you hear at the end. Stephen came in not too long after with the rhythm guitar, complete with the intricate fills you hear throughout. Around the same time, Mark added some really innovative, genre-bending horns and shakers to it. Ken then completed the song with his stellar vocals. 

  Of course, every great song needs a great producer, so Ken turned it over to Stephen for an objective mix, although Ken was still heavily involved in the process, too. This is the first time Ken has sung lead for an EC song, and we were all very impressed with his skills on this one. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Composition--The Eclectic Collective 
  This song began with Josh coming up with the bass line and accompanying guitar chords that make up that part of the rhythm section. Ken was next to add his funky drums, thus completing the rhythm section. JJ also added to the rhythm, however, with his driving clavichord, soon after. He also added the trippy theremin you hear in the break part, too. Chris added some far out guitar parts that fill in the sound throughout, too. Mark then jumped in and she some of the synth you hear in the break part, too. Stephen came along to complete the sound with his cunning banjo, as well as fiery guitar in the break part. He also produced and mixed this superbly as always for us. 
  This is another purely Eclectic Collective production, and almost of us were able to add our voices to this, except Tez and The Mysterious Decibel. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating
