These are very old recordings made with Cubase VST, lots of virtual instruments and a Proteus2000 - about 15 years ago on an old pentium machine with 512 MB of RAM. Though I was very proud of having produced this pieces - don't take it too seriously *today* ;-).

Improvisation 01

I am currently working on this ... by now the drums and all the acoustic guitars are loops or came from the DAW assistant, only bass and b3 were played manually - but this seems to be the main song structure. Lyrics are written down, next steps will be recording the vocals (not mine, thank god!) and the mixing.

From May to July I want to mix, (re-)arrange and/or complement three songs from three different artists (solo or bands) here at Soundcloud - as I did with this song. That's all! No contracts, no costs, it should simply be fun for both of us. Deal ;-)?

If you can deliver individual tracks of your recording, I can do the following:
- EQ and compression, volume, panning
- (Re-)arrange
- Add tracks or instruments (if playable on a keyboard ;-))
- Mix and (pre-)master

I don't want to (and simply can't) compete with professionals who work commercially for decades and with high-end equipment. But we all know that you can dramatically improve the sound only with standard techniques and pretty solid standard gear, if you take your time and know what to do. So this offer is just for you, if you can write good songs and (fairly reasonable) record it, but lack equipment or patience (or both) to make it sound really fine in the end.

Why do I offer this? Well, even if it's not my main job, I am making music for more than 30 years, solo and with other people. It's fun. So my only wishes are to continue learning and get better - and perhaps meet nice people from all over the world.

My musical home includes styles like Rock, Folk, Acoustic, Singer/Songwriter and adjacent genres. I work with Logic Pro X (more rarely with Cubase AI7), my sound suppliers are Yamaha MOXF, Yamaha DX7, E-MU Proteus 2000, Korg Poly-800 and tons of virtual instruments and samples.
