what a way to warm up 🔥 felt back at home. was a class night back in the arches

I was up in Scotland for a relaxing Xmas break, and when a last minute ticket for this came up I just had to make the drive from Dundee.   Had never been to the Arches but had heard about it's reputation of of course had heard Essential Mixes and Radio 1 shows from there.  What can I say - was an amazing night and Michael, thank you for a amazing warm up set (let's be fair, wasn't really a warm up by the end lol).  Coming back next xmas, so if it's on again I'll be there.

For What You Dream of and Crispy Bacon in the same set...love it. Shame I was in a queue outside and for the cloakroom when this was happening 😢

Joe McGarry Modern Classics (Extended Set)

This was my third year playing at Trancefest and this was my favourite edition yet. I had the best time and it was great to see the Vinyl Arena fill up so quickly with it being at capacity during my set. 

It was awesome to spin these tunes out again on a set of 1210s in a club environment. I had a bit of trouble with the monitors as it was the opening set so the mixing is pretty raw as you would come to expect with Vinyl however, I hope this doesn’t detract your enjoyment of the mix.

Incredible feeling to not only be back in The Arches but to be able to play there again.  A lot of my microphone lines don't need much editing on my recordings, as the input levels are consistent but this one was bananas.  There isn't a club in the UK that could beat the Arches on atmosphere.  Brilliant night!

One More Tune Live From The Arches Glasgow 23.12.23

Here is a copy of my set from the One More Tune event which was held on the 23rd December 2023. 

I had the honor of being one of the guests for the Official Pre-Party at Vega which was on before the main event at the Arches. It was a wicked event that was full to Capacity and was the perfect start to what was sure to be an emotional return to the Arches venue for so many people, including myself.

This set comprises tunes from all of the main Artists who were playing and also contains some of the biggest tracks that I rinsed during my Residencies at the Arches for both >>Inside Out* and Colours, who I still regularly play for today. 

One More Tune was a truly special event and brought back so many memories for everyone who was there, and I would love to do it all again in 2024. 

I hope you enjoy this mix, as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
