🗯🗯 How did Covid-19 pandemic changed your artist life?🗯🗯

This pandemic changed my artist life by not allowing me to reconnect with my musical friends and also not giving me the chance to connect with the audience on the dance floor.
It made us as artists to perform on virtual performances. It made me to come up with ways to keep the music going.

🗯🗯 Where did you record this mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

I recorded this mix at home in my bedroom studio and I did many takes of the recordings because I was not happy with the other takes. This recorded take is the one I am happy with. I felt like exploring with different styles of electronic music on this podcast. I was going with the mood in each song.


🗯🗯 Where did you record this mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

The first thing I will do is to hangout with my friends and try to reconnect with each other because we lost touch. Secondly, I will visit my favorite spots and gearing up for the DJ life, getting ready to play shows and continue where we left off.

🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

The time at home allowed me to work on plenty of music, crash course Cinema4D and After Effects to the point of professional use, save health, save money (and spend it immediately on new gear). I stopped gigging and bounced out the nightlife a while back to focus on my design career so I’m really fortunate to say that my professional life remained stable and only became more focused.


🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

Digitized a few old records, bought some new stuff, recorded the mix at home with Traktor. I prefer it for podcasts. Seems to lend itself to longer, more chill blending. With vinyl or XDJ I tend to do a lot of quick cuts, fader/EQ tricks, and that can be a touch aggressive for home listening.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

I miss intimate Jazz shows. I’d like those back. I want people to continue to be as sympathetic, empathetic as many (certainly not all) have become since the pandemic began. That’s a tall order, I suppose.
