Haitian Lament is the 9th track on First Black Nation, a multi-movement instrumental album that tells a story about the 2010 Haiti Earthquake.  On June 4th, Michael-Louis Smith will launch a CD release show at DROM in NYC for First Black Nation, which drops on iTunes and Amazon a week earlier on May 28th.  First Black Nation also features bandmates Diallo House (bass), Ismail Lawal (drums), Stacy Dillard (sax), and Victor "Baby Boy" Gould (piano).
