Biography: 
X_FR — the sonic identity of Alexander Kotlov, a sound producer and DJ from Novosibirsk, the beating heart of Siberia. As a co-founder and visionary of the label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Alexander is a pioneer of a unique musical movement that channels the spirit of his homeland. Born in 1983, he has journeyed from a passionate love for music to crafting an entire universe of sound — one that leaves no listener untouched. As one of the label's key ideologists, he shapes not only the sound but the very philosophy of contemporary dub techno. X_FR is, indeed, the architect of Siberian sound.

Under the moniker Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, in a creative alliance with his brother ENERCUBE, Alexander weaves sonic tapestries where simplicity meets brilliance. Their tracks transport listeners to the soul of Siberian landscapes — rugged, majestic, yet profoundly meditative. The music of X_FR is a true alchemy of sound, where the shadows of basslines intertwine with the tenderness of melodies, and minimalism unfolds into boundless depth. In the work of the two brothers, a rare harmony emerges — the product of a shared vision and familial connection. My name is Mike, I have been in love with 'Noise' since I was a little boy, driving my family insane with silly noises that i was creating with my voice. Later in life I got into sequencing samples using software trackers (OctaMed on Amiga). My first hardware purchase was a Roland MC 303 groovebox which opened up the world of sequential modular music writing. As a 20 something year old student I remember my room filled with mashed up friends listening to mashed up sounds. Since this time I have enjoyed writing tunes.
