Elizabeth Ziman. Do Not Hang Your Head (premiere)

One of my very favorites among arrangements I've done for any singer's album, this appeared as a kind of "bonus track" on Ellen Gozion's lovely 2004 album of Appalachian folk music, "Awake Awake."  Warren Davidson is the first violinist in the string quartet (I can't remember offhand who else played on this session) and I'm at the piano.

My setting of one of Madeleine L'Engle's moving Nativity poems, as beautifully sung by Carol Ann Allred back in.....1998? 2000?  I'm at the piano, and there is a string quartet, although from this distance of time I can't remember who was playing, except for Sara O'Boyle on Violin I.
