Certainly hard to find with some remastering from DJ producer and local home boy jay Potter. Big respect!

The introduction of Acid House and Chicago House over four decades ago marked the beginning of a journey that remains unwavering to this day. As a teenager, the foundation was laid for building an extensive record collection encompassing various House genres, which fostered a profound connection to the DJing world. Starting at the age of 13 in his bedroom it wasn’t until he was 17, that he began his DJ career at private gatherings and underground events, eventually securing residencies at numerous local bars in his hometown and throughout the northwest.

His keen ear for underground House music was instrumental in establishing a reputable presence in the early 1990s at numerous House events. This passion led to the creation of memorable nights such as FullSpectrum, Rhythmic Flavours, Vinyl, and Fusion. 

In the late 1990s, he had the opportunity to perform at iconic venues in the Manchester House scene, including Dry 201 and Ampersands, where he played niche House genres for enthusiasts seeking underground releases with a soulful touch. The bond with Soulful House has remained strong, evolving into explorations of Afro and Deep House sets, skillfully blended with soulful vocals to create a harmonious experience for every soulful House aficionado.

In 2020, during the lockdown, he established his brand and home studio, “SoulHouse Avenue’, which became a bigger driving force for his passion. This space has hosted numerous live streams during the lockdown and served as a recording hub for various radio shows and DJs .

He has been fortunate to appear on prominent lineups at events such as Disco in the Park festival ,Edit Presents in the Park, sharing the stage with notable artists like Melvo Baptiste, Copyright, Graeme Park, Yam Who, Mark Brickman, Jaegerossa, Odyssey and the Murphy Brothers. These experiences recognised his dedication and skill as a House music selector, setting the tone for memorable events. 

More recently, he had the pleasure of performing at Sheffield’s Kargo night at Kellem alongside esteemed selectors in the soulful House scene, including Shaun Hayes, Sol Brown, and Scott Diaz. Closer to home, he has participated in long-standing house nights like Green and made his debut at the Encounter festival in Preston, performing on the steps of the Harris Museum, overlooking the bustling square below, to kick off an evening of arts entertainment for the city in the city’s first event of its kind.

The year 2024 has brought increased exposure through various radio stations, including LDC Radio with Yung Fox, Real House Radio Manchester with Andrew Lees, and a guest appearance on House FM with Steve Macca on the "Deep into the Soulful Lounge Show." Late in 2024, he performed four Soulful House sets at Paphos Beats in Cyprus, earning the nomination as event favorite as voted by attendees.

Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be a year focused on building upon the successes achieved in 2024.
