𝘼𝙐𝘿𝙄𝙊 𝙄𝘿 - Casting ARCHANOOO - HC041

My name is Archan Harnam. I am 26 years old and come from Rotterdam. I have always had a passion for House music. It triggered me for a long time to start mixing and find out more about producing. Knowing that my cousins ​​had a DDJ400 at home in the attic, which ultimately was not used, I asked if I could take over the DDJ. It started with making mixtapes and practicing a lot at home. Then in July I followed the Beginners DJ Course at “DHA Academy” and, thanks to Josh Charm (@joshcharmmusic), I learned how to build a set using different mixing techniques.

I will continue this in 2024. My goals for 2024 are to further develop and expand my DJ skills. I want to learn from DJ/Producers around me, will take the production course and, based on this knowledge, set the goal of producing my own Minimal House / House / Deep Tech track(s) in 2024.

Best of 2023 Mix

This track has influences from the 90s chart topper Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, a vocal by Bahamadia, one of the most important female MCs of the 90s. Supported by a jack style house groove that was really popular in the 90s. Enjoy!

My track “Right Right” is an homage to my parents’ generation of club-goers and my relationship with the music they partied to. I could probably say it started when my parents gave me an MP3 player loaded with a ton of their music and a crash course on Limewire. Or you can say it was always there since the very beginning 😂. I really don’t know.
