At the start of this year, I began suffering with anxiety and felt a total lack of creativity as a result. After seeking help and getting a prescription for Sertraline, I felt inspired again and started making music. This track is named for the drug that helped me come out the other side.
This is the title track of a 3 track EP and it closes the record, hopefully it leaves listeners on a euphoric note!

This song samples kids in Belfast, back in 1967, talking about their feelings. This was at a time when it wasn’t encouraged as much as it should be. It’s always important to talk about your feelings x

How It Feels

Hourglass started with me listening back through all the female vocal samples I’ve saved over the months.
A few of them, stood out and magically worked so well together! After combining just a few of the samples, I started to understand what the song means to me… to me it’s about being the person who can’t move on from a relationship as quick as their ex, a feeling I know all too well…
