Latest upload for The Pad Bank sample challenge this week was Joe Simon - It be's that way sometimes. Once again I enjoyed the challenge and have managed to cobble something together.

You can drown in perfume,
you can kiss him till you’re blue,
but sweetness don’t mean kindness—
and pretty don’t mean true.

He’ll brag about the women
like trophies on a shelf,

never sees beyond himself.

like that’s some kind of crown,
