Michael Storey Jr a.k.a. The Wordologist is a native Nashvillian actor, martial artist, singer, and writer of screenplays, songs, spoken word, and conscious rap lyrics. He has been writing both songs and poetry since age 15, and was a member of several local R&B groups in his area, and has performed for many years at various venues ranging from coffee houses, to political conventions, to concerts opening up for artists like Anthony Hamilton and Angie Stone. Michael is an avid follower of his own self created philosophy, the Quadratic Principle, which means to live one's life within the proper balance of spirituality, family, career, and recreation. Michael is a "freelance philosopher" who is always seeking new and old knowledge on an endless quest to acquire multitudes of wisdom. This is the philosophy/ideology that Michael chooses to reflect all throughout his poems and songs. "My biggest dream, aside from being the greatest father to my children and the greatest King to my Queen, is to bring REAL lyricism back into mainstream music, and to put out material that is clever and creative enough to entertain the listeners, but more importantly, to push people to think beyond the parameters of coptic thought, thus sparking an evolution in the entire human collective.
