This is a co-write with Quentin Burton and Carolyn Cates that started with a speed writing session through the Song Chasers songwriting group. Drums and keys were created by Quentin using Toontrack. Carolyn provided some quality lyrical and music ideas. Lead and rhythm guitars were played by Chris Halo. I contributed the vocals and bass.

I've Got No Rest - Cowrite - SCSF

Song was inspired by a line in a book, which is the opening line of the song. I thought a female voice would do it justice and Morgan did a wonderful job. I played the guitar and piano, a midi bass and used Logic Pro X drums.

I'm On To You - featuring Morgan Nelson on vocals

recorded on an iPhone in a closet with a classical guitar. If you listen closely you can hear waves crashing in the background. It's a little rough but I wrote this  after a friend had lost a dear friend in an accident and I was so touched by how sad she was. I thought it might be a comfort to her later as it is saying to give all your crying to God.

This was a songwriter challenge in my songwriting group SongChasers. Deena Proschold and I were to write a top line over existing tracks. It’s out of my comfort zone but it was fun! Vocals recorded at home.

This song relates to someone struggling with doubts and depression and that there is someone that will be with them through it all. We are not alone in our struggles. There is hope.
