Salmonella Dub began rehearsing in a garage on Forfar St Otuatahi Christchurch back in 1992. This track was in our first live set at the Westport Race track on January 13th 1993. We were on tour as a 3 piece back then with Excellent Soul Therapy (featured in some of these pic's) Our good Mate Ian/Icemac is on dub knobs and Marcus P on persucssion. This version was recorded on cassette live at the Dux de Lux a month after our first show. We did not have a sampler back then so Regi's flute was stolen from a vinyl garage sale of Japanese pan flute - butchered onto Mutant Nina Turtle tape found at 3am in the dumpster at the back of ECHO records in 1992 dropped by a guitar on/off foot pedal hotwired to the motor of an old Sharp cassesste deck in reel time (hence the motorised tape ramping) - COZ we couldn't afford a sampler - wouldn't of known how to use one if we could - we were the troglodytes who sampled the Koran without realising mixed in with Cheech & Chong with a warehouse devils pitch fork and stirred it lightly with live versions of Fred Daggs Larry Loves Barry while beating out the Orbs Lil Fluffy Clouds - much to the dismay of one vegetarian Muslim gent at our first soundcheck at the Dux De Lux on March 10th 1993 - poor chap didn't understand we preferred Mainland #8 wire Bass B strings and a collection of Dad's electric razors for gat pics

After a 22 hour round trip with many off road adventures, thinking back to The Town is nothing but pure JOY! Gorgeous surrounds, lovely people, muchos dancing and ridiculous antics from everyone who emphatically embraced TOWEL TIME 5/5/18. 

This set is more Simpsons heavy than usual, due to the performance nature of The Town. It also has more nerve induced train wrecks as a result of performing live in towels (that kept threatening to fall off a expose our shame).... Please forgive us, and enjoy the bangz.
