And it happened!
I finished this track in March of last year. I sent it to a few record labels, to some friends who own record labels, and thought to myself: This song haves something different to me, something special and positive.
Some labels said "thank you, but we're not interested". Others, "maybe next year - 2025, and without a release date expectation"... And I felt really down... But there was something inside me that made me uneasy every time I listened to my work. So I decided to take a big risk and send it to the maestro, yes, to Hernán Cattáneo. I thought: "I've heard so many "no's," one more won't make a difference".
And on the afternoon of April 26, 2024, I sent the email. Five minutes later, to my surprise, I had this response:
"Thank you very much, my friend
now downloading elements of life
:))
Hugs!!"
And in May 25th of that same year, Elements of Life was played by Hernán on Urbana Play FM - Resident 681...
No matter how much some say our work isn't good, if we believe in it, we have an obligation to fight, to persist, because for the "right person," for the "right ear," our work certainly will always have value.
