Oksana Badrak has been one of my favorite visual artists since the early aughts when first exposed to her work at a small gallery in Silver Lake. I had known Oksana for a couple years prior through our associations with the OURS Collective but wasn’t aware of her unique creative talents until having the opportunity to view them in person. I was instantly moved by the strange world she had built through a phantasmagoria of dreamscapes.

There is something about Oksana’s work that brings me comfort through its inimitable blend of serenity, melancholy, and wonder. Oksana has created a world that make me say “I want to go there.” 
I have attempted to assemble an aural accompaniment to her work that gives you the same sense – one of floating through a foreign and inviting world of mystique and wondrous surrealism.
