For this edition of RIOT PRESENTS we welcome back a close friend of the collective: @MariaSoleDosi. Our paths have crossed many times, from her set at our hosting for FIK Garden Festival in Amsterdam, to our collaboration with Overstuur at Luxor Arnhem, and the unforgettable nights in Milan at Tempio del Futuro Perduto with her collective Dropzi, which she leads together with Paula Sanz. Beyond the music, we share a vision, a mission, and a strong friendship, and we’re excited to continue striving together toward our common goals.

Raised by techno collectives, Sole Dosi is a multidisciplinary artist known for her fierce and diverse selections, spanning Hardgroove and Raw Techno, Detroit, Trance, Breakbeat, and Electro. In record time, her talent as an Italian DJ and producer has been recognized worldwide, sharing stages with heavyweights like X Club, I Hate Models, and 9x9. She’s released on respected labels such as BCCO, Craigie Knowes, Diffuse Reality, Gem Records, Tin Techno, and Kneaded Pains, and her last EP My friend is on air stormed the Beatport Top Ten Best New Techno charts. With support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, and Secret Cinema, and a lifelong passion as a vinyl collector, Sole is more than just a DJ, she’s a tireless selector who takes crowds on journeys through her musical fantasy.

We’re honored to have her join our PRESENTS series, not just as an artist we admire, but also as a true friend of RIOT. Enjoy the ride! 💜

Welcome to next MEET Podcast - Episode 41 Sledge  

We looking forward for this next Episode , we are thrilled to welcome Sledge, a true veteran of the German techno scene. Originally from Thuringia, Sledge has been shaping underground and club culture for decades. Since the late 1990s, he has been involved in a range of projects, evolving from intimate underground parties into full-fledged events that caught the attention of club owners and promoters across Central Germany.  
Over the years, Sledge performed in nearly every musty techno basement and renowned club in the region. His early work as a booker for venues like Erfurt’s Joue Joue Club and Jena’s OGS allowed him to hone a keen sense for curating unique event experiences. Even as the scene became more commercialized, he maintained his commitment to quality and originality.  In the 2010s, Sledge moved to Leipzig, immersing himself in the city’s vibrant subcultural music scene. What started as a one-off birthday party at Elipamanoke grew into Tonkassette, a successful event series blending techno and house, later moving to venues like So&So in Leipzig and Charles Bronson in Halle. Alongside the events, he curated the Tonkassette podcast series, highlighting both established and emerging artists.  
Earlier this year, after seven years of collaboration with Westhafen, Sledge decided to part ways to focus entirely on his passion for music. This return to his roots has revived the Tonkassette podcast, now releasing carefully curated DJ mixes exclusively from Leipzig artists.  
For this episode of Techno Meet, Sledge presents a 90-minute mix of 25 tracks, featuring recent releases from artists such as Chlär, Quelza, Besta Hira, Oscar Mulero, Shed, Nastia Reigel, and Alarico. True to his purist ethos, his sound is raw, uncompromising, and groove-driven, combining futuristic sound design with the spirit of 90s techno at tempos ranging from 135 to 142 BPM. Minimalist yet powerful, Sledge’s mixes showcase his definition of techno in its purest form.

Emerging from Montreal’s thriving underground, Mike Chidiac has carved a reputation as a DJ whose sound bridges the worlds of techno and progressive. A regular Stereo collaborator and a former monthly resident at Circus Afterhours, his marathon 8–12 hour sets became known for their immersive flow, weaving deep storytelling with relentless energy. Mike approaches every set as an evolving journey, guided by a passion for both musical preservation and innovation.

Beyond the booth, his dedication extends to sound system culture and community building, curating experiences that unite people through music. In 2025, Mike co-founded NWHR, a new Montreal club dedicated to techno, further solidifying his role as a driving force in the city’s electronic landscape. Having shared stages with international heavyweights while steadily shaping the local scene, Mike continues to push sonic boundaries and contribute to Montreal’s ever-growing musical tapestry.
