Stockholm based electronic music artist Megra returns with the release of "I Stay," the first track from his highly anticipated second project 2:M. Known for his dynamic blend of melodic beats and haunting synth-driven soundscapes, Megra’s latest single sets the tone for a darker, more refined chapter in his evolving but instantly recognisable sound. 

"I Stay" pushes the boundaries of his signature style, blending atmospheric electronics with evocative vocals and a driving rhythm. I was fiddling around with a noise machine--one of those things that does white noise, rain sounds, thunder sounds, etc--thinking about circuit bending but first I thought I'd try running it thru a sampler/effects box to see what I could cook up. Turns out the "Rejuvenate" setting produces some alternately soothing and creepy sounds! Great fun--I could do a whole gig with this rig, man. Thanks Brookstone!

I don't generally make this type of music however, I wrote this for my mum who I lost to breast cancer in January 2013. The guitars are played by a 13 yr old lad I teach Daniel. It is not mixed down and is very rough and I am by no means a singer but I felt I had to do it for her memory :)
