Singer-Songwriter “Michael Emmerson” will be releasing his debut single “Back To You” on the 18th June 2012 in the UK. The single is written by himself and star of BBC’s hit show “”Being Human” Andrew Gower. The two co-wrote the song, after being picked out by Chris Martin, Radio 2 DJ Mark Radcliffe and producer Steve Levine at the Make It Break It awards.
An avid composer and multi-instrumentalist, Michael has immersed himself in the art of song-writing and sees it as a fascinating form of self expression. After many years co-writing, playing in bands and performing all over the UK, he decided to go it alone writing and self producing his own solo album. Michael claims artists such as Coldplay, Bon Iver, The Fray, OneRepublic, Damien Rice, and Sigur Ros amongst many others have had an impact on his music making. But insists he wants to create and develop a sound of his own.
Touring up and down the country Michael will be promoting his debut single ‘Back To You’ (recorded at Parr St. Studios, Liverpool), which is the first release from his debut album and will be available to download on the 18th June 2012 on itunes.
