A short improvisation inspired by our first visiting hummingbird of the season. ☺️

The Perfect Day (feat. Fr. Harris)

My earliest musical memories are of a small home on Williams Street, where my family moved when I was three. After dinner, my father would play hymns on his Conn organ, and I would sing along. That simple, shared ritual was my first introduction to music.

Our time at the organ came to an end a couple of years later when we moved, and my father's schedule became busier with teaching, pastoring, and graduate studies. I soon moved on to singing along to albums of musicals, and eventually, my mother became my first piano teacher. But I'll always remember that it was my father who first gave me a love for music. This piece is in his memory of him.

Une Petite Cocasse

a German Song which translates as ' you my love' in English. it is not a romantic song but dedicated to my mother who is the love of my life. she has cared for me and loved me since I was born. through many difficult years. I am a paranoid schizophrenic with other disorders aswell including borderline personality disorder. even though ive been extremely difficult to deal with over the years my mother has never let me down. I do not live with her but she is my official carer. I have a special affinity with Germany and the German language.  I have Polish/irish blood but I feel the strongest pull towards Germany so maybe in my ancestry there is german blood.
