I got asked to come up with a title song for a pilot called "Doing the Lord's Work" that was just like the show where they build someone in need a new home, but in this show it's a church...not sure what happened to the show...but here was the first kind of rough sketch for the song...reaching back to my baptist roots.

Radio Free Dixie

Recorded in Waldo, FL July 2012 while visiting a friend who happened to have a Neumann U87
microphone there he was borrowing from a studio. Naturally, I was curious to what it sounded like! I recorded a a few off the cuff improvs, and finished this song and recorded it. It's new and I'm not quite sure what to think about it, it's meant to be a little tongue in cheek; but I played it in my set when I got home and the audience gave it a great response. May change.
