After countless hours spent chopping up vinyl, laying down basslines, tweaking synthesizers and banging on drum pads I'm proud to present "I'm Gone". This album aims to bring back the soulful sounds of the past while maintaining a bass-heavy modern feel. I'm especially happy with two tracks on the album which feature my friend Willdabeast (of Snug Harbour and Michal Menert Big Band). Will laid down some soulful horns, flute and a few other instruments to take my sample-based beats to the next level. The mysterious identity of Black Howler goes hand in hand with his exceptional production skills. All that can be said is that he is a creature with a particular interest in the heavier side of bass. Having the vibe and energy that most good music lovers will appreciate, ‘Square Time’ takes us on a funky trip to areas commonly associated with Glitch Hop music. 

Expanding the genre to the full and making his remix even funkier than the original mix, D.End blends future sounding and oldchool synths, organic samples and heavy bass action together in a dynamic and groovy style. 

A young Hungarian producer, Fourth, takes the original to the Dubstep dimension with some spacious synth breakdowns to let us enjoy the ride in the full. Finally, inspired by the 80’s disco and boogie, Bulgarian artist Slugware creates a Breakbeat remix that nicely rounds up the whole release.

MalLabel Music has some funky-fresh double team action this week by two of the Bay Area's big room Funk junkies, My Pet Monster and No Rush. 

These boys have been on a tear with this already being their second release of 2016 and we're okay with it. When you put two fire producers already hell bent on flooding the world with solid vibes on their own in one room, you know it's gonna be the hotness. A fusion of My Pet Monster's signature Swing and Bass into the arcady, low end Vaporwave styles of No Rush has spawned some of the slap-bassiest Funk-Hop this side of the Mississippi.
