Death Of A Bachelor by Panic! at the Disco (cover)

With the untimely death of a dear member of our local Northern Colorado music scene, I decided to take a stab at writing a song about grief, addressing how its ok to be sad, to ask hard questions, and most importantly to come together as friends and remember to tell the people we love that we love them.

Celebrate

I broke out one of my old band's songs and took a crack at remixing it. When we were originally making this album, we lost two members among dealing with everything from divorce to the deaths of friends. The final product was frenzied and though I feared it wouldn't ever be released, we managed to get it out, despite it falling short of expectations. Remixing this track was cathartic for me, as I can finally hear it as I originally intended it to sound. Thanks for listening.

It Felt Like Drowning remixed 2017

Taking a vulnerable leap with this one. Had some extra time in the studio and decided to try and record one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite people in one take. I find myself connecting threads between losses that I've experienced every time I listen to her version, so to sing this song myself certainly brings up a lot of deep feels. Sorry its not perfectly in tune, but maybe its better that way.
