catatonic as i mask sonnets,
imagine birds fly with wings made of fire rings,

integral elements like elegance in a rose,
evidence for evil is on a rise,
even if dying of hunger they're justifying their raise,
been getting tripped out,
but never fall like a leaf with its mystical ease,
floating,
but still crash to the earth like a star,
read the veins in the greenery like learning my scars,
certainly are a part but apart we are not,
same method as the atoms in rock
attract & then stop,
hold it like a gravity field,
this ain't rap just a dishing of how clarity feels

i've seen an orphan walk through a legion of shattered glass,
only to find that crawling would free him of tattered rags,
streets, meet battered hands,
it's colder to the touch,
saw an obstacle & pushed it with his legs, it wouldn't budge,
used his heads,
'cos the pen is more powerful than double-edged swords that scorch with no remorse,
he saw,
through the corner of his eye,
a blinding white light that burrowed into his mind,
said,
"see the stars for what they're really worth,
a motivation for the laymen to aim for until the dirt
devours,
arm leg legs arms heads,
'fore there's nothing left but the breath of regrets long blessed"
he pushed forwards,
found himself in deep waters,
kicking at the weight of a million of dreams slaughtered,
bordering the realm of reality seems faulted,
but the raindrops falling at his feet scream "shorewards!"

anyways,
for many days he searched to no avail,
wondering if he could make the grade if show & tell,
kids are cruel,
but they are honest in their moves,
their assessment is as pure as the intention of the drool,
this ascension of the fool, into person then to king,
he's walked a winding path like the ridges on a ring,
he scribbled on a whim & painted pictures with the words,
blue-blooded wings give a deliverance deserved,
his disfigurement meant that he thrived in an atmosphere of saturated pigments aligned into massive fears,
is that the entrance or the door,
he pondered many questions like the essence of it all,
but didn't stop,
putting feet in front of the next,
feeling electric impulses that flow under the neck,
deep inside of his chest, he find peace in the fear,
how many lives lived & why're they keeping him here?
