This song is conceived and co-written with Marc Black. This performance was given on February 12, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan, by that choir, under the musical direction of Terrence J. Flanagan. Based on the 23rd Psalm, the lyric reads:

Love is my shepherd, I shall not want.
We lie down in green pastures, find joy in still waters;
Love restores my soul to true righteousness,
Although I walk through this valley of shadows, I will fear no evil.
Love you are with me, I see your heavenly hosts prepare a table before me

Something Like The Blues

As a composer, Minard has composed music for all of the television networks, PBS, HBO, TNT, The Disney Channel, and Warner Bros. For several years he was a songwriter for Sesame St.  His ballet “Friendly Fire” was performed by Ballet Arabesque, a state ballet company of Bulgaria.  He has been a volunteer for Rehabilitation Through the Arts at Bedford Hills Correctional since 2011. This summer he collaborated with the women to write "Amazing Grace," the first full-length original musical ever produced at the prison, under the aegis of RTA.
