Mindfulness master Wim Hof and DISCIPLΞS member Gavin Koolmon's TRANSMISSION project served up their rave-inspired single ‘LOVE’ at the end of 2023, and now it receives a pumping remix treatment from Newcastle breakthrough talent Schak on Patrick Topping's Trick.

Schak’s remix of 'LOVE' opens with the original's spine-tingling monologue from Wim Hof as trance-tinged chords build around it with layers of reverb that give off a celestial feeling. When the drums drop, they are hard-edged and pumping with plenty of smart filters and raw percussion to ensure dance floors erupt.

A name that is evermore in the spotlight and a trailblazer of the Makina subgenre, Schak’s return on Trick once again showcases his trademark, high-energy sound following a whirlwind 2023 that saw him play a legendary Mixmag Lab stream, a viral half-time set at St James’ Park and everywhere from Ibiza to Creamfields.

Liverpool up-and-comers Kyle Starkey and Inafekt have an extensive catalogue of appearances on labels such as Circus, Nervous, and Seven Dials between them, and now the pair join forces for the first time, crafting the high-octane smash ‘Ultimate Rave’ for Patrick Topping’s Trick label.

'Ultimate Rave' is a no-nonsense house stomper that goes straight for the jugular. The pumping drums and turbocharged synths drill through the mix while looped vocal stabs and blistering basslines combine for a rowdy peak-time affair.

Michael Mulligan

Hailing from the north of Scotland in Inverness, Michael Mulligan is a name known by many in the North, Long time DJ Starting as a resident DJ in Inverness nightclub Miami, 

Fast forward a few years and Michael started his own night called elevate which has become a main night at Upstairs venue in Inverness attracting some of the best DJs the Highlands has to offer. 

Michael in 2022/23 also played in various clubs across Scotland including The Tunnels, The Vault, Oran Mor, Hummingbird, October, Manuka and a host of venues across Edinburgh and warmed up for the likes of Gary Beck, Franck, Ronnie Pacitti and NRG Trax, while also playing at Cultivate Festival,

Michael also has a residency in Fort William at Roobard nightclub each month

Expect alot more to come from Michael in 2024 as he is now apart of MADE academy which has really taken Michael to a new level of Djing and opportunities.
