Bari-based talent Fedele’s Obscura Music label continues to go from strength to strength as a pioneering platform for avant-garde techno music with a leftfield twist. We welcome back Ferhat Albayrak to Tronic for a 4 track EP. Ferhat is already one of the biggest DJ's in Turkey and we really like and support his productions. 'Unchained Melody'' has an old school techno vibe with dark chord progressions, that is not often heard in today's techno sets. We recruited one of our favourite producers Andre Crom for remix duties. He added this signature energy without compromise! 'Whee Whoo' and 'Blue Owsley' have also been tested many times and always deliver the goods on the floor.

The journey of this brand new label begins with a 2 track release: "Trivia / Ultraschall” After a great start of collaboration tracks such as "Gotland" and "Orust" on Kompakt Records, label head Julian Wassermann teams up again with Florian Kruse on ‘Trivia’. This track combines a unique sound, modern synth influences and enormous grooves - Just perfect for the club season. Julian also delivers a solo track here with "Ultraschall" which is a Tribute to the legendary techno club in Munich (until 2003). The frame of the track is retro and it turns into a modern dance floor weapon as soon as the catchy arp melody appears. Stimulated by Neu!'s "Motorik" rhythm and New Wave Michaelous oscillated between Berlin's rave scene and shamanism in the 90s. His genre-bending productions were on a quest for an unknown land between techno, psy, electro and ambient until he discovered his own fresh take of Melodic Techno: varied, rhythmically driving - and always deep.
