Hot is a sweaty blend of different genres that have inspired its creation. The 00s UK garage scene provided the backbone for the thumping bassline that drives the track fronted by a UK grime vocal, while the tropical fusion elements bring warmth and a relaxed vibe to the mix. The warm guitar adds a layer of texture and depth, making it the tropical complement to the driving bassline. The classic 90s house rhythm section ties it together, giving the song a familiar and danceable groove with a warping bassline adding a unique element of instability.
