Before the Old Bridge Fell

My name is Adam Sweet. For the last 45+ years, I've been teaching adults how to play mandolin, violin (fiddle) and guitar. I taught at the Fretted Instrument Workshop in Amherst from 1985-1995, Downtown Sounds in Northampton 1995 - 2010, and the Keene Institute for Music and Related Arts from 1999 - 2009. I opened Sweet Music in 2009 to offer in-person lessons and group classes.  Recently, I wrote a song about my experience teaching people to play music. I wanted this to be relevant so that people are inspired to sign up for lessons, so text 413-213-5767 any time!
