This short track tells a fairy tale: Our main character's ife in Valway Heights is peaceful and enjoyable—until a stranger arrives and starts to make things a bit more interesting. Tension in Valway Heights soon grows and the outcome becomes more and more uncertain. Then, in a critical moment, the stranger saves the main character from great danger. All of the sudden, adversity is gone; main character and stranger fall in love and happily live out the rest of their peaceful and enjoyable lives in Valway Heights.

This piece is my creative echo to Hans Zimmer's "Up Is Down". It resulted from me studying his composition. I learned a lot about simplicity, instrumentation, rhythm, and structure/repetition. At some point, this track diverged from the original inspiration and took on a life of its own.

It's the day of the coronation. The princess is calm and begins to get ready for her new role. Her staff and everyone else gets more and more exited. Then, the queen-to-be enters the throne room, all eyes on her. The big moment arrives and the princess is ceremonially crowned queen. She breathes deeply as she feels the weight of the marble crown, then smiles and greets her subjects. The festivities are opened!

Marble Crown

Musically inspired by Alex Pfeffer's "Legend of Greymoor" (https://soundcloud.com/alexpfeffer/legend-of-greymoor), I've tried to compose and produce a track with only symphonic orchestral instruments, limiting myself to the BBC Symphony Orchestra Core library. I worked on this piece over a period of 18 days.

This arrangement consists of: flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, tuba, trumpets, french horns, tenor and bass trombones, timpani, cymbals, violins 1 and 2, violas, cellos, double basses, harp, and women and boys choirs.
