Written in quarantine, this song is a celebration of the people, places, and pursuits that inspire you—or simply get you through—in the midst of uncertainty.

It's also a declaration of thoughts of regret. At the beginning of the pandemic, I caught myself misusing my time and thinking how I could have shaped moments in my past differently, which very rarely helped in the moment. This mindset wasn't unique to the pandemic, but the feeling was compounded by a few key events I experienced during it. It's been far more rewarding so far as I aim to shift those thoughts to the things I don't regret for a second, and the positive changes still to come.

All video footage here (https://smarturl.it/MJEditYT), and in the full version to follow, is from my first ever trip to California from the beginning of February 2020—a solo adventure that, had it been scheduled for a few weeks later, might not have ever happened. It feels fitting to dedicate this video to my longtime friends Chris Poresky and Gaby Caparimo (the best California hosts one could ask for). - Steve
