Alexey has been DJing since the mid 90s. He plays both vinyl and digital. The main styles are House, Tech-House, Techno. In recent years, he has concentrated on such styles as Jazz House, Funk and Nu-Disco. He thinks that the fusion of jazz and house opens up new avenues for the development of electronic music. Jazz and House have common roots and are better suited to each other than anything else. The vibes of this music make people happy in the present reality regardless of age and culture. As a producer, Alexey releases Jazzy Deep House  music under the name Indiecat.

Michael Vegh has been actively involved performing music in nightclubs and recording and producing music for over 30 years, originally as a live musician in the alternative rock scene of Deep Ellum, Texas, but he always had one foot firmly planted in dance music, and spent the greater part of the last decade as a DJ and house music promoter in Southern California. 

Driven by a love for dance music (and a desire to avoid the  one hour drive to either Los Angeles or San Diego from South Orange County), Michael threw a series of dance parties and afterhours in his own home “disco” (converted garage) that in 2015 evolved into a monthly club event at OC Tavern in San Clemente, CA – somewhat naively named “SPACE OC”.

SPACE OC became a collective of likeminded DJs and music lovers, promoted over 100 events, and quickly expanded to other venues and continued through 2019 as a monthly night at Brussels Bistro in Laguna Beach California and also as a theme camp and sound stage at San Diego’s regional burning man events. Michael enjoyed dual roles as promoter and resident DJ at most SPACE OC events. SPACE OC DJs have played EDC, Coachella, Nocturnal Wonderland and other major festivals.

Last year, Michael took a dramatic turn into a new chapter of musical and personal growth. He put active Space OC events on hiatus, sold his home in California, moved into a camper van, and has traveled the country as “student of house music”. 

In a single year, he drove coast to coast four times, over 40,000 miles through 30 states, visiting house music venues and festivals in over 25 states so far, sometimes playing, but mostly listening – to deepen his understanding and appreciation of house music and its history. 

In 2019 alone, Michael DJ’d shows with DJ Dan, Mark Farina, Superstar DJ Keoki, Collette, Donald Glaude, Oscar P, Jask, Matthew Brian, Jason Blakemore, Thee-O, Josh Billings, Nonfiction, Zach Hill and many others. 

In previous years, he’s played with Shiba San, Sonny Fodera, Dom Dolla, Joe Pea, Audien, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and a host of other established DJs. He has also sat on music industry panels at West Coast Weekender with King Britt, Fred Everything, Nicodemus, Hector Morales, and other music legends.  

Michael has played most respected SoCal venues and nights, such as Exchange LA, Avalon Hollywood, Focus OC, re:love, House Music Fridays, La Cave, Sutra, Purple 33, Kava Lounge, Kitsch Bar, Proof Bar, The Lexington, YouTopia San Diego. He also spins live house music often on KXLU 88.9 FM in Los Angeles and KXRN 93.5 FM and KUCI 88.9 in Orange County and is now venturing into other states. 

When not on the road, Michael has made Florida his home, and actively supports the vibrant house and techno music scenes in the Tampa Bay area. He can be found behind the decks at Hyde Park Café several times a month, learning from and supporting his east coast house music mentor – legendary house music Producer/DJ Jask. 

Musically, you can expect a soulful and deep DJ set from Michael. His travels and open-minded approach to music demonstrate his value for regional musical differences. He seeks to bring magical and interesting dance music that creates a story appropriate for each individual time and venue, while still maintaining his own unique and identifiable sound.
