The Michael Weizman Project is one of London's most exciting and talented bands whose sound is fresh and new whilst staying accessible to the public at large.

Their music can be described as melodic contemporary jazz influenced by world music, as well as incorporating elements from pop, creating a great fusion of interesting rhythms and harmonic movements and memorable melodies, inspired by artists such as Esbjorn Svensson Trio, Avishai Cohen, Brad Mehldau, The Yellow Jackets, Dhafer Youssef, and many more!

The MW Project was formed by Israeli born drummer and composer. Michael Weizman, who scoured the London scene and gathered some of the best musicians to create a collective focusing on melody and musicianship, all of whom have performed at numerous festivals and respected venues in the UK and Europe. 

MW Project’s repertoire is based on their own original compositions, combined with those of others, always arranged with an interesting approach to best take advantage of the unique sounds and talents of the group members.
