This instrumental was recorded in 1991 after Joe and Winter Hours parted ways. This came out as a flexi-disc along with the original demo version of "Hyacinth Girl".

Recorded at Cabaret Metro in Chicago in the winter of 1989. I believe this was Winter Hours at it's peak. Dave Scheff pushed us to the limit every night. This is part of the free download from the self-titled re-issue.

Here's one of the 7 unreleased Winter Hours songs that I'll be recording with Keith Caruana, Rob Norris and Stan Demeski. This is live 1991 from the Knitting Factory. The sound quality in less than desirable, but the performance is all there. Matthew Caws band, Because Because Because played with us this night.

08 Roll In The Ivy

 From one of our last performances. This is from Maxwells. Originally an instrumental (Almira Street)that I'd written and recorded. Joe liked enough to want to add lyrics and vocals to, sadly we never got around to recording it. East Of Venus recorded this for our upcoming "Memory Box" LP.

20 Faded Pictures 1 - 25 - 91

Here's Joe singing the Zombies song with some studio guys in NYC. This was recorded on July 29, 1986 at Right Track Studios. Right around the time of the "Wait Til The Morning" sessions. We had been playing this song out live with Ward 8, though a very different arrangement.
