As some of you know, I am currently studying abroad in Hong Kong this semester. I don't have access to any of my DJ equipment, so it forced me to learn Ableton and create this mix. It's not the best, but I'm slowly learning.. so thank you for being patient with me and my horrible transitions :)
As much as I love HK, I can't wait to come back, but till then...

Farewell Pt.2 - Away From You

"gük" means "soup" in Korean and so taking a cue from the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series, I've decided to craft several mixes to follow different themes.

This mix is an extended & cleaned up version of a set I played for the Asian Creative Network (ACN) Los Angeles mixer back in December 2018. It's a dedication & tribute to Asian artists & influences in today's music in a collection sang, written, and/or produced by Asian artists. Along with these songs are also tracks I felt transitioned really well to bridge the gaps between genres or fit the vibe to reflect the Asian-American spirit (obviously Porter is an honorary Asian xD).

can't believe it's only been a year since "song to make an abg cry to" was created. I spent an insane amount of time on this because I wanted this one to be special. Didn't use any porter, illenium, or seven lions to prove to everyone I just flat out know how to make a fucking good mix.

I've been really sad lately thinking about graduation and all the people I'll be leaving behind, so instead of studying for my finals, I decided to make one last mix dedicated to the people I've met in college -- this one is for all the people that came into my life and changed it for the better. legacy (june mix)

This mix helped me relieve my post feelings and it is one of the favorite mixes so far with edits i really like. I am starting to learn how to produce, so this is probably the only mix I have in summer, hope you will enjoy this mix like I do, and do share with your friends if you like it.

welcome to the first volume of the echod chamber. my goal with this mix series is to further develop my creative style by bridging together the melodic and heavier sides of electronic music. to help accomplish this, i've packed the mix out with a ton of original and exclusive edits -- so be on the lookout for those.

its been a while since i last put out a mix, it's good to be back!

i've been keeping myself occupied the last few months with producing and even starting a twitch channel, and it's been a super challenging but rewarding experience! to be frank, i started this mix in a time of stress and uncertainty. pursuing music feels like a constant uphill battle and i question whether or not i'm even cut out for it.
i kinda vomited this mix out, so you can kinda listen to it like you're listening into my stream of consciousness lol it's filled with a bunch of tracks that i've found inspiring, but also a bunch of edits that were purely made for shits and giggles
