Kontinum (IFZ, Aequalis, Nebula, TGP) - Jonas, who grew up in the far north of Germany, moved to Leipzig after 20 years of wind and rain. There he was quickly inspired by the prevailing sounds of the Institut fuer Zukunft and finally started the Kontinum project in 2016 with a focus on atmospheric and dissociative Techno. Over the years, the palette of sounds grew and now ranges from ambient to deep techno to contemporary club-oriented techno. In 2017, he founded the Nebula collective with a couple of friends and started hosting the first illegal events. In the course of time, Nebula has also found its way into the Leipzig club scene and is now an integral part of it. Since 2022, he has had the privilege of being a resident at Institut fuer Zukunft and co-host of the infamous Aequalis events. Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Oslated.

Released on Soma Records, Mord, MindTrip, Edit Select, Olympian, and Faut Section — the early support of his productions from leading players in the Techno industry has been proofing the quality of his output from early on.

Sounding out the depth of Techno, his thorough understanding carries his productions, defined by a minimalistic and dark sound aesthetic driven by deep grooves. Continuous tension is running through his tracks without using big build-ups or massive breakdowns. Milo manages to get to the root of Techno and reinterpret it in a unique and personal way, independent of trends — Modern, future-oriented Techno.

Milo Raad performed from Asia to South America and is a regular across venues in Europe, where he presented his music at some of the most distinguished events and clubs like Boiler Room, Tresor Berlin, Exit Festival, and Melkweg Amsterdam, to name a few.

We are finally back with a new addition to our mix series. This time, we are presenting ELEKTRASH. They are an artist duo made up of Genderless Groove & Pistolera, both hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their selections and music seek to recycle techno from an immersive and powerful imprint, where a raw aesthetic stands up. In their sets, they subject the audience to different abstract and linear, hypnotic and musical journeys, and that's exactly what they showcase in this tight and dynamic techno mix. Enjoy!

Just to remind you: Błażej Malinowski is one of the most recognizable figures of the new wave of Polish techno. With a number of releases for Polish (Minicromusic) as well as foreign (Phorma, Silent Season) labels, he became renowned for his ability to balance the experimental and functional/dancefloor aspects of techno music.
The latter especialy applies to this Deep Impact podcast - from dubby, spacious intro, at a steady and relentless pace it's gaining energy and roughness while keeping it precise and minimalistic.
