Testing out all the Steven Slate plugins I got recently. There is VCC and VMR (VMR kills, it just kills everything on the market!) on every channel, VBC and VTM on all busses and the mastering section is just VMR Revival, VBC (with the Grey compressor being the main workhorse, but the Red and the MU being also engaged and reducing about +-1.5 dB) and iZotope Maximizer with the IRC III algorithm.

Original description:

This is my mix/cover of my favourite song from Misha Mansoor, I wish he put that one on the upcoming album! I think it is the best sound I've been able to do so far, but I've got a lot of things to learn. I used Toontrack Avatar kit, starting from Bulb's presets, but going multitrack from SD ton mixing console in Presonus Studio One. The drums had to be heavily treated there. Guitars are done using FREE PLUG-INS mainly, so if you wanna know how to get my tone, message me. The bass is done with Spectrasonics Trilian.
