The field recording this track is based on has been laying on my disc for more than 10 years. It is a recording of an enormous rotating statue by the czech sculptor Ales Vesely. Hope you like it.

My humble remix of one of the gems of music history...

Vangelis - Ask The Mountains [michasto remix]

A #DimensionSounds2014 track.

As I was skimming through the samples to get some inspiration, I instantly fell in love with the sax sample by Flyaway Sounds, combining jazz with ambiance in such a beautiful way. By a chance it also fitted perfectly to a track I was just working on. So I've used it and added some more ambient sounds by
Mathias Vincent, Erskine White and John Morgan to capture the variety of the samples. Finally I have added some percussive sounds by James Bowman and Igor Cvitkovi. I was working in Reaper as usual.

This is basically a soundtrack for late-night romantic walk on the beach with echoes of distant firework and occasional voices of other moon-walkers.

A CDR 2016 submission. Throughout the track, I have used the "G__D - Fireworks & Firecrackers - South East London" sample from 2014 which adds not only the ambient fireworks sound but also the distant voices and was a perfect match for the atmosphere.
