ANACO : April ambient mix - 15 Avril 2021

https://soundcloud.com/camilla-pisani is an audiovisual artist based in Rome. She looks for the interaction between space, sounds and abstract graphic signs.
Her music is an hybrid, moving into a set of influences: ambient, drone, soundscape, soft noise, and minimal electronic. She composes field recordings, suspended atmospheres, hypnotic textures marked by concrete rhythms.

"What was a crucial sonic experience in your life?"
As a listener I certainly remember my first Electric Campfire at Villa Massimo (Rome) in 2013, organized by the old Raster Noton, because I touched with my own with hand what would later become the basis of my artistic research: the interaction between sound, space and visual arts.
As a performer instead, the live show at Godot Bistrot (Avellino) in 2019 in which I opened Retina.it and Frank Bretschneider. I always remember it with some emotion, partly because I didn't feel up to it, a bit for being afraid of disappointing myself and others, another bit because of the adrenaline rush of the first times... but mostly because of the fun and familar atmosphere that was created that night; the only reason why I perform and, ultimately, why I approach music and people.
