Correspondants 28th release, Polina, delivers another brooding, evocative EP for the label, this time from the Agents of Time polyhedron: a fusion of ideas and concepts that make up a single reality. The Italian trio of Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa, and Luigi Tutolo came together in the summer of 2013, and their inaugural album was released via Stem Records in January of the following year. The group uses both analog and digital equipment to refine their unique amalgam of progressive, techno, and ambient music.

Two of those are reworks of gems from the Frank & Tony presents… EPs; “Rings” featuring the hushed tones of Corbu and the hypnotic “Elea,” an early vocal contribution to Scissor and Thread from Bob Moses. Lastly a secret edit, “Water Under Wind” provides some euphoric, sun-drenched bounce.

I had a great Burning Man this year and one of the highlights was the pleasure to play a sunrise/closing set @ Robot Heart on Monday morning.  It was a really special and spiritual experience, and one of my favorite sets last year.  By Monday morning after the the Temple Burn the remaining crowd is dedicated and it made for a perfect mix of friends, the spiritually endeavoring, and the music freaks who never quit :-) ...
