AAAAHHH SHITTTT! HHE is back with and it's a sick one!! We hooked up with DJ Stress from Connecticut, a man who has been paying his dues in hip-hop for over 35 years now! He first started out as a DJ back in 1985 and around 1992 he started getting into production as well. 

In 1996 he recorded a 16 track deep album with local Hartford, CT emcee Tone Benjaminz. An album that remained shelved until now, 25 years later! Tone Benjaminz is a multi-talented emcee, producer, songwriter, and voice actor who goes all out with gritty, multi-syllabic, aggressive lyrics over DJ Stress' hard hitting and grimey beats. All tracks were remastered from the OG DATS and both the CD and vinyl will be limited to only 300 copies and that's it!

Back in 1998 Abdominal released his debut album "Ab Flex" on tape only. He sold most of his tapes out of his knapsack back then as you did in the 90's, true backpack rap! This was where it all started for Ab, who became known as one of the best rappers and freestylers ever to come out of Canada and often collaborated with DJ Format in the years to come.

A while ago Ab found 63 original tapes in his dad's basement and headz jumped on those like crazy. Now HHE is extremely proud to announce our collabo with Ab to bring you this amazing piece of work on both CD and Vinyl as well.

Not only will you get the original 9 tracks, no... we will add 6 more previously unreleased bonus tracks from these sessions! To make it even more special we have included an insert with extra info AND we hooked up with known local Toronto illustrator and artist Kagan McLeod (a personal friend of Abdominal) who updated the front cover entirely making this not only an album but a limited piece of art as well! 

All tracks remastered by Justin Perkins, the CD will be limited to 350 copies and the vinyl will be limited to 300 copies total in 3 versions.

After the breakup of Tuff Crew, DJ Too Tuff opened a studio at No 7 West Girard Ave in an area known now as Northern Liberties. Through hand to hand flyers, street team promotions and mixtape sales DJ Too Tuff was able to create his own underground collective and discover new talent that would later be in this lost archives collection. Many of the songs that were made ended up being used as Rest In Peace and dedication songs by drug posses during the 80's and 90's drug wars. All of this production was made exclusively on 2 Technics 1200s / Numark Mixer / Akai MPC 60 / Multiverb / Tascam 488 purchased by Sound One Talent by Philip Voluck Esq. and John The Investor.

The CD version will be limited to only 300 copies, and the vinyl version will be coming in late November.

Soul Kid Klik are a New York based crew that was formed by producer/rapper/Jazz musician G-Clef da Mad Komposa in the mid 90's. They were one-time Wu-Tang affiliated being signed to GZA’s imprint but the label folded after a while forcing them to take the independent route.⁠

After dropping ‘Invisible Army” on vinyl back in 2018 we have now compiled 12 more tracks that were originally recorded between 1994-1998. Out of these 12, 9 will be on vinyl for the first time ever (5 solo tracks from Infamous Mr. Savage and 4 from G-Clef) in addition to 3 Goodfella Mike G tracks that appeared on his solo album.⁠

Dayton, Ohio rapper King Solomon has provided HHE with 14 tracks from his vaults all recorded between 1996-1999. King Solomon, a member of the Universal Dialect collective, has been recording for almost 25 years now. HHE025 King Solomon - Solomonic: The Dialect Years (1996-1999)(Mixed By DJ Eagle)

Natural Elements acquired a record deal with Tommy Boy Records in 1998, the same year they released their first single "2 Tons/Live It Up" under their indie division called Tommy Boy Black Label. The situation would soon turn out not to be ideal as Tommy Boy continually shelved their debut album due to not knowing how to market and promote them. Issues between the group and label would soon lead to Natural Elements leaving Tommy Boy. The debut album was ultimately never released in spite of the hype it accumulated. In an interview, Mr. Voodoo stated "The Tommy Boy situation was hectic. We was supposed to have an album out in 1999. First, halfway through the album our A&R was fired. We still were still on and finished the album but they kept sitting on it. We were like let us go but give us our masters. So we got 'em. A whole fuckin album that no one may ever hear." The group eventually took a small hiatus and disbanded due to personal issues.

Kings Link Recordz released a compilation of tracks from those sessions in 2009 on CD only but this time around HHE will commemorate the legacy of Natural Elements by dropping it both on vinyl and CD. All the tracks have been fully mastered for both vinyl and CD as always and the artwork has been redone in the colours of the NY Knicks to represent their hometown to the fullest. The tracklist has been mildly redone, with a shuffled tracklist and the classic previously unreleased "Life Ain't Fair" track was added to the tracklist instead of "MTV".

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the album, it will be released on double vinyl  as a gatefold edition!

HHE teamed up with HHV.de and they will have an exclusive run of 100 copies on 3 Striped colour vinyl.

HHE will have a run of 100 copies on Blue/White/Orange coloured Splatter Vinyl and black copies will be limited to 300 pieces total.

The CD headz won't be left in the cold and there will be a press of 500 copies total as well.

Kinship officially consists of older brother Ubiquitous Poet (U.P.) and Eloquent Slave (E.S.). The oldest of the three brothers in the family, Pookimous Extreme was more into the visual arts than music creation.  Although Pookimous never aspired to be “in a rap group” he heavily supported his younger brothers and provided inspiration and guidance on an artistic level that really showed up in the Kinship sound, aesthetic, and overall vibe of the group.

Black-N-Mild was crafted in 1995 in Richmond, VA and its sound is mellow, smooth and laidback with a superb Jazzy vibe. The CD will only be limited to 250 copies so don't sleep!

SWE is back with Seattle crew Crooked Path's previously unreleased debut album from 1992! Check out Funk Daddy's breakdown on the group's history.

Funk Daddy: "Crooked Path consists of JaySkee, Dee-Lyrious, and DJ Funk Daddy (then known as Greg B). JaySkee was the mastermind as he was always putting things together and making things happen. Dee-Lyrious was a producer, DJ, and Rapper who was the more lyrical one of the group with a gangsta voice. Funk Daddy (Greg B) was the producer, battle DJ, and vocalist on some of the tracks as well."

"All 3 of us went to the University Of Washington where we all met.  JaySkee playing football, Dee-Lyrious playing basketball and Funk Daddy DJing all the college parties. JaySkee brought everyone together and we all meshed naturally."

In 1992 Crooked Path recorded and completed "After Dark" of which only a few promo tapes were pressed. Two of the album's tracks later appeared on Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Seattle... The Dark Side" compilation album in 1993.

The LP will be limited to 250 copies on vinyl (100 on grey marbled color vinyl and 150 on black vinyl) and 250 copies on CD. We revamped the original tape artwork and the tracklist will feature some "Fun Facts" provided by Funk Daddy.
