Bass-D started his career in a very successful way. He was crowned Dutch DJ Champion in 1992, after which he started a DJ tag team with King Matthew. Since then, Bass-D has played at every major hardcore event worldwide, such as Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, Dominator, Decibel Outdoor Festival, Nature One, Nightmare and many more.

Despite his busy touring schedule, Bass-D has also found time to produce and remix several major hits such as "Hold Me Now," "Raveworld," "In the Mix," "My Little Fantasy," and "It's Alright," just to name a few. Bass-D has collaborated with and remixed for major industry players such as Paul Elstak, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, Outblast, Re-Style, and many others. To this day, Bass-D continues to be busy developing exciting new projects and performing at major events worldwide. Bass-D is one of the true early pioneers in hardcore and freestyle, still making his mark on the scene every day, so stay tuned!
