It's kind of funny how surprising it can be when you have no real plan or specific idea when creating music.  Now I realize how this track can sound like 80's in style....though a fan of this style I never was, but I must admit I always love experimenting with these kind of sounds & instruments ;)

C'est parfois surprenant ce qu'on peut créer comme musique quand on a pas de plan ou d'idée précise.  Cette pièce sonne un peu années 80 ou dans ce style, pourtant j'ai jamais été trop fan de cette époque.  Par contre j'ai toujours aimé essayer et bidouiller ce genre de sons et instruments ;)

Those recited by David are verses from one of the most famous poems and one of the greatest Italian poets of the 20th century (Eugenio Montale). They are taken from the collection entitled ‘Ossi di seppia’ ('The bones of cuttlefish'), published in Italy in 1925, and several times translated into English (alone or together with other works by Montale).
Many thanks to David (@david-dunhamuser589535203), who agreed to collaborate on this little creation, also adding his refined guitar phrasing. All the (usual) imperfections are mine.

The wacky adventures of Inspector Looso - New Fetchflix TV Show

After escaping from Baroness Desire Organa sadomasochist lair while she was delivering a weird speech, Inspector Looso spent a week trying to understand what seemed to be at first glance a load of pornophonic gibberish words. Thinking that his brain had the power of the Enigma encrypting machine his understanding was that Baroness Desiré Organa provided him the route to the Phantom’s Holy Grail. Since his Citroën 2CV engine was dead, he decided to take his father’s Helicron car build in 1932. However, The Phantom hired the famous private investigator Mr. Peebody to ensure that Looso would not be after him anymore. According to the decryption of the Baroness speech the route should start at Anus in the commune of Fouronnes. Then he had to go to Sainte-Reine in France at the intersection of La Chatte and Le Fion. Then to Montcuq in the commune of Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc. Then to Monteton in the department of Lot-et-Garonne to finally arrive at Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Porc close to the Spanish border. However, Mr. Peebody’s goal was to throw Looso out of the road in the twisty roads between Monteton and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Porc. Looso resists Mr. Peebody’s assaults and went full throttle thinking that his father’s Helicron was a flying car. He indeed went air born for a while after leaving the road in a curve but ended his flight in a pond as ungracefully as Orville Wright crashing the Flyer in 1908. Will Looso survive to this wacky adventure?

Hello! I’m a university professor of history who enjoys playing guitar and piano/keyboard, and occasionally composing — unpretentiously, just for fun. I’ve been here for at least 10 years, but only recently have I started using the platform for something other than just external digital storage.
Most of my recordings (made with a KorgD8, Audacity, and more recently Reaper for MIDI and the Spitfire Audio libraries) are entirely homemade and decidedly imperfect. And yet, I think that lately I’ve learned to do something a bit more - and better - also thanks to greater commitment.
My music includes old songs (all written back in the last century; here I’ve only shared the ones I’ve reworked in recent years) as well as both old and new instrumentals — usually in several versions, some of which eventually disappear because they’re simply unlistenable.

Thanks for stopping by and giving something a listen; in the description you’ll often find explanatory notes or translations of the lyrics.
Here I’ve discovered a community of talented musicians and songwriters, and plenty of beautiful music to enjoy. Whenever I like, comment, or repost a track, it’s always the result of attentive listening. For the same reason, I’m not interested in trading empty “likes” without real engagement, and I won’t reply to messages from would-be promoters — follower counts don’t matter to me in the slightest.
