Berlin-based producer Lo.Sai is back at the remix duties with his third release of 2021. Pray - RMX (Lo.Sai x Suuns) is an homage to influential Canadian Art-Rock band Suuns, a long time favourite of Lo.Sai. Lo.Sai  had the pleasure to meet the band personally during one of their tour in Italy. From that encounter, the willingness to pay a little personal tribute to their music and art became even stronger, and has now finally seen the light. 
Pray’s original version is part of Suuns’ 2020 Fiction EP: a piece of music that feels like an intriguing walk into a labyrinth, a trip in a futuristic Arabic desert drenched in a noisy sound wall adorned with krautrock incursions. Lo.Sai edit traverses industrial and alien soundscapes, emphasizing a sense of pressure in the sound design. Toying around with the noisy elements and guitar samples, Lo.Sai’s Pray remix opens up in a martial and vibey tune shaken by rhythm impulses, where he plays (in the bridge section) with the classical harmonic solutions of SUUNS. The voice of frontman Ben Shemie is chopped, cut and distorted, becoming almost another instrument among the others and echoing gregorian chants.
“Working on PRAY’s remix was so exciting. It felt like I was sharing a virtual space with the band I love” says Lo.Sai. Remixing Suuns it’s a lot about getting involved in their very unique musical interplay. It’s like a meditative experience in which you are swimming in this pool of floating images, words and sound objects; eventually a whole picture will make its appearance.”

Lo.Sai is an Italian-born, Berlin based multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer. Classically trained as a double bass player and pianist, he blends contemporary music's heretical approach to sound research with electronic music's flawless charme. Regardless of genres and boundaries, Lo.Sai creates soundscapes suitable for different media and rituals.

Chemistry is a journey overnight in a futuristic middle eastern world. The track is influenced by indian music, future bass and hip hop. It first dazzles you with its opening sample, heavily mod guitars and the hip hop reminiscent beat. Everything clicks into a fusion that feels new and intuitive when it comes to the trappy tabla informed drop. What makes the track very unique is the main swaggy synth’s hook which leads the jam. A droney section is there to disorient us before the heavy breakdown, a jungle oriented variation on theme which doubles the tempo and where synths and chopped samples wrap around fast hand drums, and break beats. Chemistry is nimble as if it was played live, intriguing like a desert snake.
