Still, Still, Still

Born in 1970, he plays guitar, cello, frame percussions, and composes. 
As a boy, he would never have thought of becoming a professional musician... In effect he graduated in Geology, but during his studies he started playing rock music (in addition to the earth's rocks...) and flamenco, creating “Mimbrales”, a group where the traditional andalusian music was mixed with classic music, blues etc... and since those days, he developed his own style, with a deep search on polyrhytmics. 

Michele Pucci as well as working with various flamenco groups, is a well-known solo guitarist, with two Cds of his own songs, but loves to work with others ethno- or folk- oriented musicians, overall in duo with Giulio Venier (Pucci Venier Duo, with the new project Dos FolkS) or with Alberto Chicayban (“Pasodoble 21” duo); as a trio, on “Kujacoustic”  trio with Massimo Gatti at the mandolin and Alessandro Turchet at the bass, and on “Kythara” crossover project, with Francesco Bertolini and Enrico M. Milanesi; moreover, he plays with the ethno quartet  “La Frontera”, and he likes accompanying traditional italian folksingers as Marisa Scuntaro (Project Marilenghe). 

At this moment, he has recorded with various groups 18 Cds and he appears in many others as a guest. He is also very appreciated as a teacher. 

Michele Pucci plays a F60 Flamenco custom guitar by Thomas Guitars.
