The Deep Way #3

Avenue Red is back after a 4 week hiatus, which has given a some space for people to digest the dense schedule of mixes that came during the peak phase of global lockdown. Now we are happy to break the chains and resume the march forwards with our underground mission.

Finally we can unleash this absorbingly deep, trippy session from Nightwalk, who hails from the city of Yoshkar-Ola, capital of the Mari El Republic in Russia in the far-out, easternmost reaches of Europe. We can confirm from experience that this mix is best enjoyed loud in high quality headphones on an epic walk through the night in unusual, mysterious places with the poison of your choice. See if you can separate out the voices in your head from the edgy spoken monologues, which appear constantly throughout this 100+ minutes of acutely atmospheric deep house and techno sounds.

Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.

Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you.

Welcome to the WE ARE ONE Podcast Episode 82 featuring Marie Wilhelmine Anders from Berlin, Germany, with her "Andersworld Remixes"-Promomix!

Marie's album "Andersworld" (2020) released by the label Broque in March was the second in a series of albums based on the poems of Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson. Marie's conceptual thinking and her craft as a modern classical composer allow her to congenially translate his lyrics into a modern
electronic language, which is influenced by techno and electronica.

"Andersworld" was already an extremely multi-faceted work of art, which combines club music, storytelling and a curious approach to classical and electronic instruments in a virtuoso way, resulting in an album that always rests harmoniously in itself.

As if the influences and facets weren't diverse enough, the follow-up Andersworld Remix album takes that to the next level: across eleven remixes, eight artists stemming from a close yet extended circle of friends sharpen the electronic and club-oriented dimension of Maries songs.

Demure Dubcast #14 - SASH

Welcome to the 310th Chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. A weekly released serie that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week a release by Kaan Elitok. Deep in his archive he found this set from a private party held on the 6th of december 2018. He was suprised that it even was recordered. 
Enjoy the recording. It contains a diversity of tracks from dub to techno and in between.

About:
Born and raised in Bursa/Turkey; Kaan Elitok, started his music journey as a radio DJ at his high school period. After he started experimenting with music producing following these years, his sound grew up with him and he brought his first single "Echoes" on Sound Vessel Records in 2016. Following it with the single "Philophobia" on Mole Music in 2017; he is continuously delivering more and more since then. In the mood of emotional, deep and organic sounds of house and techno, he applies the techniques of music making to his flavorous DJ sets.
