„The Deep Way“ is a heartfelt project that celebrates the love for Dubtechno, experimental sounds, and electronic music in its purest form. This series captures the hypnotic, meditative quality of Dubtechno and merges it with the deep, emotional themes of self-discovery and spiritual journeys. The signature sound of Dubtechno – with its cool, often detached atmosphere – becomes a central element of the narrative.

At the heart of the series lies the power of electronic sound, particularly the unmistakable 4/4 rhythm that defines the Techno genre. This penetrating beat forms the foundation that supports the entire musical structure of the series, providing listeners with a steady, driving flow. Furthermore, the electronic bass drum, often the backbone of the music, is combined with subtle, repeating effects like reverb, echo, and phaser, which are characteristic of the Dubtechno style.

These effects not only create a deeper, immersive soundscape but also reflect the inner journey of the characters. The drifting, distorted sounds and expansive reverb spaces generate an atmosphere of detachment and reflection. They invite the listener to dive into the recurring patterns of the music, discovering new dimensions of the self that go beyond the ordinary. The music thus becomes a vehicle for emotional and spiritual unfolding.

The warmth, often almost melancholic atmosphere created by Dubtechno is more than just a sonic feature in „The Deep Way“ – it is a narrative dimension. It underscores the sense of inner emptiness while simultaneously highlighting the quest for enlightenment, which forms the core of the series. The characters in „The Deep Way“ undergo processes of transformation, amplified and supported by the electronic music.

It is not only about the sound itself but about the experience: The love for Dubtechno and experimental sounds becomes a metaphysical journey, where music acts as a guide. It invites the listener to question familiar perceptions and concepts and to find a new, deeper connection to the world and to themselves.

„The Deep Way“ is therefore not just a series about music but a journey through the complex world of electronic sounds, in which the love for Dubtechno and experimental sounds forms the foundation for a deeper engagement with the self and the world around us.

Seabra Monkey is a Dub Techno producer based in Amsterdam - NL – His love for Reggae, Dub Reggae, Frank Zappa and Tribal House is the foundation of the style he is exploring when producing his own tracks. Seabra Monkey is signed under different labels of which [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] has a special place, as they were the first in recognizing his potential. Although considering himself a producer, he has more then 20 years of DJing experience. 

Fresh music from René has recently been released on the label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] as a brand new track "Winter's Breath" in the compilation dedicated to the label's birthday, a mix of one of the parts we offer you to listen to performed by Seabra Monkey. Stay tuned!
