The Deep Way" Series by Michel Heukrodt

„The Deep Way“ is a heartfelt project that celebrates the love for Dubtechno, experimental sounds, and electronic music in its purest form. This series captures the hypnotic, meditative quality of Dubtechno and merges it with the deep, emotional themes of self-discovery and spiritual journeys. The signature sound of Dubtechno – with its cool, often detached atmosphere – becomes a central element of the narrative.

At the heart of the series lies the power of electronic sound, particularly the unmistakable 4/4 rhythm that defines the Techno genre. This penetrating beat forms the foundation that supports the entire musical structure of the series, providing listeners with a steady, driving flow. Furthermore, the electronic bass drum, often the backbone of the music, is combined with subtle, repeating effects like reverb, echo, and phaser, which are characteristic of the Dubtechno style.

These effects not only create a deeper, immersive soundscape but also reflect the inner journey of the characters. The drifting, distorted sounds and expansive reverb spaces generate an atmosphere of detachment and reflection. They invite the listener to dive into the recurring patterns of the music, discovering new dimensions of the self that go beyond the ordinary. The music thus becomes a vehicle for emotional and spiritual unfolding.

About Moodeep[Poland]:

I come from Poland. The music has caught my ear since I was a little boy and I am not surprised that I know very old songs. The first cassette player obout 1992 year starts my exploration of the world of sound. First albums was Phill Colins or Bad Boys Blue or Michael Jackson etc ... The next stage was metal, death metal, and rock music. In the meantime, I got interested in euro-dace music and I start playing them as a DJ in clubs. Well, the 90's brought a lot of musical genres with them, from rave, eurodance to club and trance, so I heard a lot of it, so I'm happy to come back to this music with which I have a lot of memories. In 2003, as "Drumakers" my friend and I started making club music in the style of clubbase. Since 2010, I have listened to progressive house most of the time, that I also created too (as a Chrisound). Currently, for about 2 years I have been exploring the world of dub/deep techno sounds and everything related to this genre. Dub techo world allows me to discover new sounds, new people, new passions and new challenges in creating this kind of music. On instagram I have a channel with short videos promoting (in my opinion) great dub and deep techno productions various artists and labels.

About The Unknown Psychologist :

Chris has fallen into electronic music since a young age ... already in the 80's, he had fun creating beats on Amstrad CPC 6128 !
In the 90s, he switched to AMIGA (Soundtracker) then PC (Reason). In parallel, he discovers the mix, first on vinyls, then for more than 15 years in digital.

His early musical influences are tinged with EBM Industrial (Front 242, Cabaret Voltaire, Front Line Assembly ...), then the time of the first Raves led him to the Hard Techno. After exploring a lot of style, Chris navigates now between deep, dub and hypnotic Techno
