Try is an uplifting song to a friend. An offer of friendship to help them when in need but they also have to try to lift themselves up and out of their situation.

DOWN TO THE RIVER by Michelle Ward feat Ed Rome

This song came out of a hook of Down to the River and quickly came into being. The words flowed, the instruments are guitar and vocals.  The lyrics went to the page as a full story, no amending.

Down To The River

World Happy is a song about the World changes, social media and everyday life. The chorus "I only want to be Happy, the World, wants to be, Happy" singing that happiness makes the World go round. An upbeat song in dark times.

WORLD HAPPY is song written by Michelle Ward and Ed Rome. We did three versions of the song and this is the guitar version.
The song is about life today, the way we live, who we are and how all we want is to be happy.

Love to Dance is nod to a retro dance track with a punchy chorus, massive vocals, bridge, its positive, good feeling tune.

This version features Tim Maple on keys and vocals. 
Each version gives something different. 
The song is a happy song but this version, with the same lyrics, same key, came out lonely.

3. World Happy (Vocals & Keys)

Michelle Ward and Ed Rome have a great track record of collaborations, and this new take on "What I Wanted" seems like a bold and creative departure from its reggae roots. The mix of drum and bass influences, layered harmonies, and Michelle's distinctive vocals should make for a compelling listen. Brass is by the legendary Jonathan Read .  "The original reggae version of the song was set to be released and I wondered if changing the drums to make it super up-tempo would work and it did. After much editing, chopping, additional harmonies, bass lines and keys, we have What I Wanted (Avoidant Mix). The original reggae mix will be out in June.

Debut EP - DIRECTIONS is out 26.10.22 with TRY being the first release.

I am normally on the other side of music; I am a radio presenter on Phoenix FM. I 'm the person that arists send their music for radio play. I love my independent music and play at least four tracks every single day on my daytime radio show. This is all a bit strange for me, sending music for airplay and promoting my own tunes.

I have been writing and recording for a good few years and this is my first EP. I have much more music to come! Putting music out there, I guess I put it off for a long time but now I think, here it is! If I gain a listener to my music that would be beautiful. 

Genre, I'm saying its soulful, jazzy, reggae, folk mixture.
