This is based on some words from Mayme Marshall. I re-worked the lyrics, so Mayme is offically the lyricist, but they certainly have my skid to it. ;-)Also, in my head this should be Mayme singing it but I haven't been able to make that happen. Maybe one day. 

Tell me Why - Work in Progress

I am a teaching musician, a mom, a spouse, a friend. I've been writing songs my entire life, and I've only recently come into myself to make them public. 

I'm trying to find the courage to write more, and get my songs in the world. I'm learning how to use Logic to make them listenable, and I'm uploading songs into Soundcloud to let them be heard. I have an enormous backlog of material that I am working through. The songs I will be posting are going to be fairly rough--it seems more important to get songs out than to polish them, seeing as I can polish them forever and use it as an excuse to not get it heard. So these songs will continue to evolve over time.
